DESCRIPTION:“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:14 \n\n\n\nThe Baptist Church Sanathnagar joyfully hosted the Children’s Retreat 2025 on 2nd October 2025\, with the inspiring theme “Beyond My Selfie”\, based on Psalm 139:14. This special retreat was designed to help children discover their identity in Christ and understand that their true worth is found not in outward appearance\, but in being “fearfully and wonderfully made” by God. \n\n\n\nA Day of Joy\, Worship\, and Learning\n\n\n\nThe retreat began with vibrant songs of praise\, joyful laughter\, and a spirit of excitement among all the children. Under the guidance of our Associate Pastor Rev. S. Sudhir Kumar\, the day unfolded with meaningful activities\, creative workshops\, and fun-filled moments that helped children grow both spiritually and personally. \n\n\n\nThe event featured Rev. Ragi Barnabas (Bilgah Joy Children Ministry) and Bro. Baptist John (CBCA Youth Director) as creative coaches. Their engaging sessions\, stories\, and illustrations encouraged every child to look beyond the “selfie” and see the beauty of God’s creation within themselves. \n\n\n\nSession 1 – Worship\, Word\, and Puppet Show\n\n\n\n\n\nThe morning session was filled with energy and joy as the children participated in songs of praise\, listened to the Word of God\, and enjoyed a creative puppet show that beautifully conveyed the message of God’s love and craftsmanship in each of our lives. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChildren were reminded that God has made them special\, unique\, and precious — not defined by social media or appearance\, but by His divine purpose and love. \n\n\n\nSession 2 – Art\, Creativity\, and Celebration\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe afternoon session continued with songs\, sharing\, and creative workshops where children expressed their understanding of the theme through art and craft. The event concluded with gift and prize distribution\, celebrating the talents and efforts of every participant. \n\n\n\n\n\nIt was a joyous time as children showcased their creativity\, sang from their hearts\, and rejoiced in the truth that they are wonderfully made by God. \n\n\n\nA Reflection of God’s Wonderful Creation\n\n\n\nThe Children’s Retreat 2025 reminded every child that their true beauty lies in the way God has created them — perfectly and purposefully. DESCRIPTION:“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 \n\n\n\nThe Baptist Church\, Sanathnagar \, joyfully celebrated the Harvest Festival 2025\, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and abundant blessings throughout the year. The celebration was marked by joyful worship\, heartfelt thanksgiving\, and the spirit of unity among the congregation. \n\n\n\nDay 1: Stall Inauguration Celebration – October 11\, 2025\n\n\n\n\n\nThe celebration commenced on Saturday\, October 11 2025\, with the Stall Inauguration Service led by Bro. D. Jayababu. The evening was filled with songs of praise and thanksgiving as the congregation gathered to dedicate the fruits of their labour to the Lord. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe church campus was beautifully decorated with harvest produce\, fruits\, and creative stalls prepared by various fellowship groups. The gathering reminded everyone that every good and perfect gift comes from above\, and all that we have belongs to God. It was a joyful beginning to the weekend of gratitude and worship. \n\n\n\nDay 2: Harvest Thanksgiving Worship Service – October 12\, 2025\n\n\n\n\n\nThe grand Harvest Thanksgiving Service was held on Sunday\, October 12 2025\, under the leadership of Rev. Dr K. Daniel Solomon (Senior Pastor ) and Rev. S. Sudhir Kumar (Associate Pastor) . The congregation gathered in God’s presence to offer their thanksgiving offerings and to rejoice in His faithfulness. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRev. Sam Shackson delivered a powerful message from the Word of God\, emphasising the importance of cultivating a heart of gratitude and of living a life that honours the Lord with our first fruits. The service was filled with worship\, testimonies\, and thanksgiving prayers as the people of God celebrated His abundant blessings. \n\n\n\nGratitude and Fellowship\n\n\n\nThe Harvest Festival remains one of the most cherished annual events at Baptist Church Sanathnagar — a time for families and believers to come together in unity\, joy\, and thanksgiving. It is a reminder that our God is faithful in every season\, and His provision never fails. \n\n\n\nAs a church\, we continue to give thanks for His unending grace\, provision\, and presence in our midst. \n\n\n\n\n“Honor the Lord with your wealth\, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing .” – Proverbs 3:9–10
