Sunday School Teacher Training 2026 – Phase 2

Following the strong foundation laid in Phase 1, Teacher Training 2026 – Phase 2 at Baptist Church Sanathnagar focused on practical application and hands-on teaching. This phase moved beyond theory into real classroom strategies—equipping teachers to confidently deliver lessons, manage Sunday School, and effectively engage every child.

With experienced speakers and interactive sessions, participants gained tools to transform their teaching into meaningful, life-impacting ministry.

Session 9.1 – How to Teach a Bible Lesson in Sunday School (Hands-on Intensive)

Speaker: Bro. Timothy Muthyala

This session introduced the practical side of teaching—how to move from preparation to actual delivery. Teachers were guided through real-time teaching approaches, demonstrating how to present a Bible lesson in an engaging and structured way.

Session 9.2 – How to Teach a Bible Lesson in Sunday School (Hands-on Intensive – Deep Dive)

Speaker: Bro. Timothy Muthyala

This session provided a step-by-step framework for preparing and teaching Bible lessons effectively.
Key Areas Covered
Main Idea – Identify the central message of the Bible passage.
Structure – Understand how the passage is organized.
Principles – Discover key spiritual truths from the passage.
Application for Children – Apply the lesson in simple, practical ways for children.

Session 10 – How to Conduct Sunday School

Speaker: Bro. Pramod

This session focused on the overall functioning of Sunday School ministry. Teachers learned how to organize, lead, and sustain an effective Sunday School environment.
Key Highlights:
Choosing and training children’s ministry leaders
Planning programs and activities
Understanding roles and responsibilities in ministry
Building a structured and disciplined system
Teachers were encouraged to see Sunday School not just as a class, but as a well-organized ministry with purpose and vision.

Session 11 – Personality Types, Learning Styles & Gender Differences

Speaker: Bro. San Kuchipudi

This session addressed one of the most important aspects of teaching—understanding the uniqueness of every child.
Key Topics Covered:
Understanding Personality Types – Each child is unique and learns differently.
Learning Styles – Children learn through visual, auditory, and hands-on methods.
Gender Differences – Boys and girls may learn and respond in different ways.
Age-Specific Needs – Teaching should be adapted for ages 6–8 and pre-teens.
Adaptive Teaching Methods – Use flexible methods to engage every child effectively.
This session was highly practical and gave teachers clarity and confidence in preparing and teaching Bible lessons effectively.

Phase 2 Conclusion

Phase 2 of Teacher Training 2026 successfully bridged the gap between knowledge and practice. Teachers were not only equipped with understanding but also empowered with hands-on methods, structured lesson planning, and practical ministry skills.
