Passion Week 2025
April 14 @ 6:30 pm – April 17 @ 6:30 pm
The Passion Week services held at Baptist Church Sanathnagar from April 14 to April 17 were a time of deep spiritual reflection, reverence, and renewal. Each evening from 6:30 PM onwards, the congregation gathered to meditate on the final days of Jesus Christ’s earthly life, guided by powerful messages from devoted speakers.
April 14 – Holy Monday
Speaker: Bro. D. Jayababu
Topic: Fig Tree
The week began with Bro. D. Jayababu shared a thought-provoking message on the story of the fig tree—a call to self-examine and a reminder on the importance of bearing spiritual fruit in our daily walk with Christ.
April 15 – Holy Tuesday
Speaker: Rev. D. Shyam Prasad
Topic: Temple Purification
Rev. D. Shyam Prasad reflected on Jesus’ bold act of cleansing the temple, urging the congregation to purify their hearts and prioritize holiness in their lives and worship.
April 16 – Holy Wednesday
Speaker: Bro. K. Vijay Kumar
Topic: Mary Anointed Christ
On Holy Wednesday, Bro. K. Vijay Kumar led a moving session on Mary’s anointing of Jesus—an expression of pure love, sacrifice, and worship. The message stirred hearts to consider how we honor Christ in our own lives.
April 17 – Maundy ThursdaySpeaker: Rev. Dr. K. Daniel Solomon
Topic: Lord’s Supper
The final evening culminated with Rev. Dr. K. Daniel Solomon’s message on the Lord’s Supper. The congregation was reminded of Jesus’ love, humility, and the sacredness of communion as we remembered His sacrifice.
A Week to Remember
Passion Week 2025 at Baptist Church Sanathnagar was truly a time of spiritual awakening.
